Weaver Family Puppies Policies

Dear Customer: A puppy is not reserved until a deposit is made for it. Please spend a little time reading our policies below. If you feel that one of our puppies would make a good fit for you contact us to make a deposit.

Our customer care: We at Weaver Family Puppies do not prescreen our customers, however, we do expect them to provide good homes for our puppies. We have sold puppies to some wonderful people across the country, and have confidence they went to good homes. If you feel you are prepared to provide the care and attention needed to develop him/her into adulthood and beyond we welcome you to reserve one of our puppies.

Guarantee and health warranty: We want every one of our puppies to go home healthy and happy. But, as it is with us humans, things can go wrong in the puppy world. To ensure that all is well in its new environment we recommend that your puppy is checked by a vet (at your cost) within 72 hours of going to its new home. If there would happen to be any problems we would need a copy of the veterinarian’s invoice and you would be reimbursed for the cost of the treatment. (that amount not exceeding the cost of the puppy). We also offer a 1 year genetic health guarantee on our puppies.

Health Guarantee: We, the Breeder guarantee that upon purchase, the puppy is in good health and has been immunized according to its accompanying health record. The puppy has been vet checked and has a health certificate. We do encourage you to take your puppy to to a veterinarian (at your cost) after you have received your puppy as we do have a 72 hour (3 day) replacement policy if for some reason it is found to have a major health problem as diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian (DVM). However, any minor conditions that are easily correctable and will go away are not covered by this policy. We will reimburse you for the cost of medication/procedure only if the puppy is taken to a veterinarian within 72 hours (3 days) of purchase.

1 Year Genetic Health Warranty: We do try to ensure that you purchase a genetically healthy puppy and if in case your puppy is found to have a genetic disorder(such as hip and elbow dysphasia, pathological spinal disorder, and a continuing open fontanel) as diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian within one year of purchase, we will #1 exchange your puppy for one of equal value, Or #2- reimburse vet costs, but not exceeding the original price of the puppy.However, there are no warranties against common sickness or accidents incurred on your part after the puppy is in your possession. All regular health care maintenance and immunizations are the buyer’s responsibility as described below.

Owner’s responsibility: You, the new owner, agree to taking care of this puppy; feeding and housing it properly and maintaining its vaccinations de-wormings. You also agree to see to its proper physical and emotional care and welfare. You assume all responsibility for any accidents or injuries caused by the misbehavior of the puppy after it is in your possession. The death, injury or loss of the puppy, due to theft, carelessness, recklessness, abuse, neglect, heat stroke, or accident will not entitle you(owner) to any compensation from us (breeder). This puppy is warranted only for the purpose of being a companion animal; not for any other purpose or reason, such as breeding, show etc.

Pick up and/or delivery: Local pick-up is preferred but we do sell puppies that need to be transported. We can transport a puppy via airline to an airport in your area for approximately $525.00. This price is subject to change as airline pricing varies a bit from one time to the next. Ground transportation could also be an option depending where you are located. We would be happy to discuss the different options and help you decide what is best suited for you.

Deposit Policy: We operate on a first person to place a deposit, gets the puppy basis, and request a deposit to hold a puppy. Deposits for puppies are $300.00. This deposit is non refundable after you have picked out a puppy. The balance will be due upon pick up. (cash or stripe), or just prior to the puppy going home if it is transported. (Stripe payments will have a 3% fee added to the balance) This 3% fee is for balance payments and does not apply to deposits.
